Habitat Notes

Localised in the north-west of state, only known from a single collection near Woolnorth growing in a near-coastal short grassland dominated by Poa rodwayi.

General Notes

Only grows on one remote private property. Recorded in 1836 and ostensibly the same location in 2010.

Propagated from seed. Capsules open soon after seed is mature. Seed released within 3-14 days of seed maturity. Harvest entire flower stalk and place upside down in a large bag. Dry until capsules are fully open. Clean by sieving.
