Seed Information

Seed Collection

Can be collected close to maturity and dried in a warm spot until seeds are released. If seeds are mature they fall out when branch is shaken.

Seed Treatment Method

Standard Scatter seed thinly on to damp potting mix. Hold seed in place by covering with more potting mix to approximately the depth of the seed size.

Seed Treatment Notes

Fresh seed may be successful but is still difficult. Plants with heavy seed crops may have low viability.

Cutting & Division Information

Usually grown from cuttings. No problems using heat and mist.
