Flowers: Usually pale yellow/cream or blue (much less common, apparently confined to the north of the state). Star-like with 6 stamens, yellow and bent in the open flower.

Fruit: Papery capsule – 3 celled.

Very difficult to grow from seed.

Seed Treatment Method

Standard Scatter seed thinly on to damp potting mix. Hold seed in place by covering with more potting mix to approximately the depth of the seed size.

Seed Treatment Notes

Smoke treatment did not improve results for this species. Temperature may be critical – i.e. not above 18°C.
