Form Description: Erect perennial herb with opposite leaves, rigid square stems and toothed or lobed leaves. The undersides of the leaves are covered with grey hair.

Height (m): 0.6 – 1

Flowers: White, 8-10mm long, with 5 spreading lobes. Borne in loose groups of 3-7 flowers.

Fruit: Nutlet – small, papery, about 1.5mm long, brown and dry when mature. Splits and releases fine seed which is brown when ripe.
