Form Description: Perennial herb with much-branched stems spreading over the ground and bright green, fleshy, Y-shaped leaves.

Flowers: Usually 4 yellow flowers, 1cm in diameter, occurring singly in the leaf axils.

Fruit: Capsule – drooping, four-angled; contains 4 brown, almost triangular seeds. The seeds are covered with a gelatinous coating, which glues the seed to the soil when wet.
