Form Description: Small perennial herb with slender stems, forming rosettes of leaves 1.5cm in diameter. The leaf stalk is often longer than the blade, which is thick and covered with long, erect hairs.

Flowers: Flowers are usually solitary, on short, hairy stalks which become longer than the leaves in the fruiting stage.

Fruit: Capsule – opens by a lid. Usually only 1 or 2 seeds mature.
