Form Description: Hairless, fast-growing, climbing shrub with twining branchlets. Leaves are opposite with a glossy upper surface, 5-20cm long and variable in shape and size.
Height (m): 2 – 6
Flowers: 2cm long funnel-shaped cream or white flowers with broad lobes, streaked with red in the throat, and often with purple or crimson spots at the base of the larger lobes. The throat is bearded inside.
Fruit: Capsule – pod-like, 4-7cm long, containing flat seeds surrounded by a broad, transparent wing. Capsule turns from green to yellow and mottled with brown, and release the winged, red-brown seed at maturity.
