General Notes

Very prickly and may have application for foot traffic control. Plants best suited to a semi-shaded aspect with well-drained soils which are moist for most of the year. Hardy to most frosts and snowfalls. Has been found to be difficult to establish in cultivation.

Standard Scatter seed thinly on to damp potting mix. Hold seed in place by covering with more potting mix to approximately the depth of the seed size.
