Form Description: Climber with stems twining, leaves crowded, alternate, glabrous, may have reddish tonings, margins usually crinkled, apex pointed .

Flowers: Cream to green, 2-5 per cluster, in axillary spikes to about 8cm long. Flowers most of the year.

Fruit: Nut – small, ovoid, black or dark red-brown, 3-angled, glabrous. Nuts are enclosed in a small cone-shaped structure to 5mm long.

May be propagated from seed but has poor results. Nuts release easily when ripe. Collect by hand.

Standard Scatter seed thinly on to damp potting mix. Hold seed in place by covering with more potting mix to approximately the depth of the seed size.
