Seed Collection

Since it flowers for most of the year seed may be collected almost any time. Dry capsules to extract seed.

Seed Treatment Method

Storage Stratification at 3-5°C for up to 3 months may improve results. Place seed in a damp medium, lightly covered. Put moist seeds in a plastic bag and store in the fridge.

Seed has an after-ripening period. Store for 4-6 months before sowing. Germination may be erratic with some species.
