General Notes
Plants are usually drought tolerant but will appreciate supplementary watering. Will grow in a wide range of soils and conditions but usually occurs naturally on sandy or sandy loam soils. Prefers a sunny position but will tolerate some shade.

Seed Collection
Seed heads turn white and fluffy, seeds are black. Collect heads into paper bags and allow to dry. Rub seed heads on fine wire screens or break up by hand to extract seed. Sieve to clean.
Seed Treatment Method
Storage Stratification at 3-5°C for up to 3 months may improve results. Place seed in a damp medium, lightly covered. Put moist seeds in a plastic bag and store in the fridge.
