Seed Information

Seed Collection

Capsules split into 4 segments each with one brownish seed. Closely monitor or bag immature fruits. To collect cut mature fruits, dry to extract seed and sieve to clean. Inoculate with soil from around parent plant.

Seed Treatment Method

Standard Scatter seed thinly on to damp potting mix. Hold seed in place by covering with more potting mix to approximately the depth of the seed size.

For some species germination is improved after dry heat treatment.
