Habitat Notes

Occurs in slow moving sections of running water and also in still waters on the Central Plateau and in Cradle Mt./Lake St. Clair Nat Pk; frequently occurs with Isoetes gunnii growing together in communal clumps. Isoetes humilior is smaller in all parts and has a veil covering the sporangia.
