Form Description: Annual herb with deeply divided, mostly hairless leaves, on hairy stalks. It has yellow or white outgrowths at the base of the leaf stalks. Usually branches from the base and spreads along the ground.

Flowers: 10-20 flowers in a flat-topped head.

Fruit: Mericarp – oval shaped, slightly flattened and with a wrinkly or ridged surface. It is 2mm long, and has a row of thin dry hairs, up to 1mm long, at the tip.

Habitat Notes

Recorded only once on Flinders Island, on shallow soil on a ridge crest with other forbs, shrubs and Eucalyptus nitida.
