General Notes

Seed Information

Seed Collection

Difficult to propagate from seed. Seed Vulnerable to ants and other insects. Cut off mature fruits and dry in warm position. Place muslin bags over fruiting branch and tie on or place material under bush to collect seed. Store in cool dry position.

Seed Treatment Method

Standard Scatter seed thinly on to damp potting mix. Hold seed in place by covering with more potting mix to approximately the depth of the seed size.

Propagate from cuttings of firm young growth. These should strike readily, but are susceptible to grey mould.
