Collect only the older fruit (usually grey-brown). Seed usually persistent.

Seed Treatment Method

Standard Scatter seed thinly on to damp potting mix. Hold seed in place by covering with more potting mix to approximately the depth of the seed size.

Most species are easily grown from fresh seed. Suitable for direct sowing in pots (2 seeds per pot) or in the field.
