Form Description: One of the smallest snow gentians, a herb with a rosette of oval to lance-shaped leaves; stem leaves are small and less than 1cm long.

Flowers: The flowers are 5-petalled with thin blue or purple lines on the inside of the petals, and borne on stems arising from the centre of the foliage. Flowering stems are less than 5cm tall.
