Habitat Notes
Occurs mostly on mudstone, uncommon on sandstone, dolerite and granite. Abundant in the south and south-east from sea level to about 500m.

General Notes
Some forms are very ornamental with a graceful open crown; thin branches pendulous to ground level almost like a weeping willow. The leaves are silvery. Bird attracting.

Collect capsules and store in paper bags until valves open to release seed.
Seed Treatment Method
Standard Scatter seed thinly on to damp potting mix. Hold seed in place by covering with more potting mix to approximately the depth of the seed size.
