Form Description: Tall straight tree at lower altitudes; small and contorted in sub-alpine habitats. Leaves: Juvenile – round with a toothed margin, green and glossy, on a square stem. Adult – lanceolate to ovate, a toothed margin, dark green, glossy and leathery. Bark: Smooth, tan streaked with orange-red or yellow-green when freshly exposed.

General Notes
Tree form is very similar to Eucalyptus johnstonii. The smooth trunk is very ornamental especially when wet, almost glows with beautiful shades of yellow, bronze and greenish-orange. Bee attracting.
