Common Name: coast houndstongue

Form Description: Perennial herb with erect flowering stems, covered in hairs. Rough-textured leaves in a basal rosette; leaves on the stem getting progressively smaller towards the top.
Height (m): 0.2 – 0.8
Flowers: Petals round, usually blue, Rarely white, in clusters on erect stems.
Fruit: 4 nutlets, 5-6mm long and egg-shaped.

Seed Treatment Method
Storage Stratification at 3-5°C for up to 3 months may improve results. Place seed in a damp medium, lightly covered. Put moist seeds in a plastic bag and store in the fridge.
