Seed Information

Seed Collection

Seed difficult to collect as only a very small amount is ripe at any one time. Seed is tan-brown and releases easily when ripe.

Seed Treatment Method

Standard Scatter seed thinly on to damp potting mix. Hold seed in place by covering with more potting mix to approximately the depth of the seed size.

Seed Storage Life

12 months

Seed Treatment Notes

The use of slightly immature seed (relatively large and green) can improve results and significantly reduce germination time by overcoming inhibitors. Seed requires light and needs to be surface sown.

Germination Time

2-7 weeks

Cutting & Division Information
