Habitat Notes

Local in areas of high rainfall in scrub associated with buttongrass plains. Grows mostly on poor soils being particularly common near rocky outcrops on quartzite hillsides in the south-west.

Standard Scatter seed thinly on to damp potting mix. Hold seed in place by covering with more potting mix to approximately the depth of the seed size.

Growing from seed has poor results and germination is slow.

Percentage strike is usually not good. Success has been reported from air-layering. Very slow growing.
